Itinerary

This Sunday, December 3, the trampers are going to have a 2-boot walk for "Pak Kok" at Lantau South.

We will meet at 9:00am outside the turnstile of exit B at Tung Chung MTR Station.  From Tung Chung, we will take a bus to Shek Pik Reservoir and start the walk.  Walking along the water catchment on the Lantau Trail Section 8, we will have a coastal trek at Pak Kok after passing the Tai Long Wan Campsite. Therefore, good balancing skill will be required and NO early exit will be available over there.

Going further, we will reach Feng Lau, and finaly, we will end this walk at Tai O where we could take a bus back to Tung Chung.

Bushwhacking will be required.  Please show up in full gears withat least 2 litres of water, lunch, snacks, rain wear, wind breaker, a torch, sun block, gloves and mos-spray(but no cigarette).  If it is raining hard or thunderstorms are threatening, the walk may be cancelled.  If in doubt, call the trampers hotline 8209-0517 in the morning.
