ShauKeiWan MTR Station (10:00am)  >  To Tei Wan (bus stop)  >  Dragon's Back (284m)  > Wan Cham Shan  >  Mt. Collinson (348m) > Pottinger Peak Country Trail  >  Pottinger Peak  >  Siu Sai Wan

Due to the foggy condition during our previous walk on March 13 this year, we decide to re-visit Dragon’s Back again on this Sunday to enjoy the fascinating view of Shek O sea coast (The World Best Urban Hiking Trail at Dragon’s Back, Shek O which was selected by TIME Asia in 2004).

We will meet at 10:00am at ShauKeiWan MTR Station Concourse (outside the turnstile at exit A).  Then, we will take bus no. 9 to To Tei Wan on Shek O road to start the walk.  It will take about half an hour going uphill and we will reward a panoramic view with dramatic feel of Shek O coastal line and offshore islands.  Keep walking along the Dragon’s Back ridge, we might pass paragliders hurling themselves off the ridge as well.  After plenty of breaks for photo taking, we will take a dirt path to Wan Cham Shan then to Mount Collinson at the height of 348m. Following Pottinger Peak Country Trail, we will head to Pottinger Peak where will lead us back to the urban, Siu Sai Wan.

So, please show up in full gears with2 litres of water, lunch, snacks, rain wear, a torch, sun block, gloves and mos-spray(but no cigarette).  If it is raining hard or thunderstorms are threatening, the walk may be cancelled.  If in doubt, call the trampers hotline 8209-0517 in the morning.
