This Sunday, March 20, 2016, trampers are going to have a two boots walk at Shek Nga Shan, Ma On Shan Country Park.  We will meet at 10:00am at Exit B, outside the turnstile of Tai Shui Hang MTR Station (Ma On Shan Line).  From the MTR station, walking along the concrete road via Chevalier Garden to Mui Tsz Lam Village is just a warm up.  We then will have a pretty challenging climb on an extremely steep path.  Following the hair-thin ridge on Shek Nga Shan (North Ridge), we could reach at the height of 540m.  Everyone will not only be revitalised by the cool breeze but also be refreshed by the beautiful panoramic view of Tolo Harbour and Plover Cover Reservoir.  After lunch break, we will descend to Nui Po Shan where is only a small hill at 399m but its attraction is the lovers’ stone locating at the mid level.  Therefore, please bring a bottle of wine for worship if anyone prays.  At the final stage, we will head down to Wong Nai Tau at Siu Lek Yuen, Shatin to end the walk.

Bushwhacking and good balancing skill will be required.  Please show up in full gears with2 litres of water, lunch, snacks, rain wear, a torch, sun block, gloves and mos-spray(but no cigarette).  If it is raining hard or thunderstorms are threatening, the walk may be cancelled.  If in doubt, call the trampers hotline 8209-0517 in the morning.
