People join this walk and any other walks organised by me, or via HK Trampers, at their own risks. Neither the walk organiser, nor HK Trampers, nor anyone involved with HK Trampers, shall be held responsible in any way for any injury, death or loss incurred, or for damage to personal property caused due to whatever causes including, but not limited to, negligence, neglect, errors of judgement and inadequate orientation skills on the part of the walk organiser, HK Trampers, or anyone involved with HK Trampers.  Any parties who show up at the time and place on the day to join the walk will be deemed to have agreed to and unconditionally accepted this disclaimer.

1.   This Sunday,6th September 2015, we’ll do a stream walk on the southern side of  Tai Mo Shan.  We’ll meet at 10.00 a.m. at Exit ‘B’ inside Tsuen Wan MTR station.

2.     From the MTR station, we’ll walk via Lo Wai to Yuen Yuen Buddhist Institute.  From near the Institute we’ll find the Tai Yuen Stream, walk upstream all along its course to near its source in Tai Mo Shan.   Once we have sourced the stream we’ll find a trail to walk downhill to Tsuen Wan to end the walk.

3.     Be forewarned that stream walk is very slippery thus dangerous, and so you should wear skid-resistant shoes.  One very good brand is ‘5.10’  and it seems it is only available in one shop in Hong Kong.  If you need further information on skid-resistant shoes, please call the Trampers hotline below.

4.   Bring all the usual things, a lunch, enough water, a torch, sun block, mos spray and if weather looks dodgy, rain gear.

5.   If it is raining hard or thunderstorms are threatening, the walk might be cancelled. If in doubt, call the Trampers hotline 8209-0517 in the morning.

6.     Please scroll down and read the Disclaimer below again.
