We meet at the unusual time of 10:10am at the ferry pier for Peng Chau (only from the Central ferry pier). We take the fast ferry at 10:20 to Peng Chau. (remember the ferry will not wait, so be on time). We can walk around the island for approx. 2:30 hours, if we stretch it a bit. Then we can take the ferry to Cheung Chau at 13:40 and cross via Mui Wo to Cheung Chau and finish the walk around this island by approx. 6:30, to watch the sunset and finish the day off with a visit to one of the restaurants for the usual rewards.

Not much program besides a lot of ferry rides.

Please remember to bring all the usual paraphernalia: hat, sunscreen, good footwear, a lunch (there are no stores along the way) and plenty of water (a good rule of thumb is to bring a minimum of two litres in any season). Last, but not least, an umbrella is good protection against light drizzle if it rains and against bombardment by cow pies if the flying cows are in the air. If it is raining or threatening to rain, the walk will be cancelled. If in doubt on the morning of the walk, call 8209-0517. And remember -- don't be late!

If it rains hard, the typhoon signal no three is hoisted, I am to lazy to get out of bed in time the walk will be canceled. To be announced.
