All our walks are led by volunteers and are planned one week in advance.  If you don't see an itinerary on our homepage, that means no one has proposed anything yet.  And if one is not posted by Saturday, you can safely assume that there is no walk the following day.

We communicate via our website and we do not maintain a mailing list.

1.      This Sunday, 12th September 2010, we'll do a cool stream walk in the hot weather in the northern New Territories. We'll meet at 11.00 a.m. at the customer services centre cum ticketing counter inside the Tai Po Market Train (MTR) Station.

The Trampers' NEP Check

But wait. This does not mean that anyone can join us. You are eligible only if you pass the NEP check:

  • Support our “NO trace behind (except footprints)” policy. You are expected to carry all of your rubbish away, and you are not meant to pick flowers or bring any species away from the walk.
  • Check the boot rating of the walk, estimate your capability realistically, and ENSURE that you can finish the walk at a crisp pace.
  • Show up PUNCTUALLY (no later than 10 minutes after the meeting time) at the meeting point of the walk.
