All our walks are led by volunteers and are planned one week in advance.  If you don't see an itinerary on our homepage, that means no one has proposed anything yet.  And if one is not posted by Saturday, you can safely assume that there is no walk the following day.

We communicate via our website and we do not maintain a mailing list.

I propose a walk on Lantau this Sunday. We will meet at Tung Chung MTR at 11 a.m. From there we will take a bus to Ngong Ping. The intention is to walk from Ngong Ping to Tai O. The route will be: Lantau Trail section 4, Keung Shan Country Trail, Launtau Trail sections 5 & 6. Using this route will keep us off the ridgeline as much as possible and keep the ups and downs to a minimum.

Please bring the usual stuff: 2 litres of water, lunch, torch, waterproof jacket, hat, sunscreen, mossie repellant etc.

If the weather looks bad on Sunday morning then a decision will be made at 11a.m. at Tung Chung MTR as to whether the walk will be go ahead, be amended or cancelled. If you have any problems on Sunday morning call the hotline: 8209 0517.
