All our walks are led by volunteers and are planned one week in advance.  If you don't see an itinerary on our homepage, that means no one has proposed anything yet.  And if one is not posted by Saturday, you can safely assume that there is no walk the following day.

We communicate via our website and we do not maintain a mailing list.

Route:

East Dam of High Island Reservoir > Po Pin Chau > Pak Lap > Tung A > Pak A > Tai She Wan > West Dam > Sheung Yiu > Pak Tam Chung.

We will meet in front of the Heng Sang Bank at Diamond Hill MTR at 10.30AM and take the bus No.96R to Pak Tam Chung.

Those who want to meet at Pak Tam Chung instead of Diamond Hill can wait at 11.30 AM outside the Country Park Visitors Centre at Pak Tam Chung, from there we will share the taxi to the East Dam to start the hike.

This is an easy two boots hike which include the spectacular geological scenery of Po Pin Chau, the beauty coastline of East Sai Kung, abandoned school houses and some old fishing villages.

Please remember to bring all the usual gear - lunch, sufficient water/drinks, snacks, a sun hat, sun block, a torch, mosquito spray, gloves, and rain gear if needed.

If it is raining or threatening to rain (thunderstorm warning), the walk will still go on but we will hike on another part of Sai Kung If in doubt on the morning of the walk, call 8209-0517. Remember don't be late! The 10 minutes rule is in force.
