All our walks are led by volunteers and are planned one week in advance.  If you don't see an itinerary on our homepage, that means no one has proposed anything yet.  And if one is not posted by Saturday, you can safely assume that there is no walk the following day.

We communicate via our website and we do not maintain a mailing list.

This isi an extremely tough hike on a steep ridge only suitable for experienced hikers wearing proper hiking shoes and not afraid of heights.

This sunday, we will meet at 10:30am at Tung Chung MTR Exit A and take the bus to the start of the hike at Shek Pik Reservoir.

We will take the chance to explore South Lantau. The hike will start near Shek Pik Reservoir, and take the Kau nga Ling West, and head up to Lantau Peak. After conquering Kau Nga Ling and Lantau Peak, we will head down to the Saddle then  Nam Shan Country Trail and end the hike in Mui wo.

The first 2 hours will be a tough hike, come prepared and bring all the necessary from the Trampers Rucksack especially plenty of water and an adventurous spirit. After Lantau Peak the trail down to the Saddle will be easy and all flat all the way to Mui Wo. This will be a 3 boots hike and only for experience hikers. If the fog turns out to be heavy and visiblity is low on sunday morning, we might take an alternative route.

The Trampers disclaimer will be applied for this walk.

Do carry something warm as it tends to get very windy in this part of Lantau. If it is raining or threatening to rain (thunderstorm warning), the walk will be cancelled. If in doubt on the morning of the walk, call 8209-0517. And remember -- don't be late!

Remember to bring all the usual gear, in particular lots of water, good shoes and a hat. Also, bring some lunch for along the way.
