Meeting place: Diamond Hill MTR, on the station concourse outside the turnstiles towards the bus terminus

Route: Taxi to Sha Tin Pass, walk up the Lion Rock, head West towards Kam Shan Country Park.

Highest point: 495 m.

Distance: 10 km.

Rating: 2 boots

Expected walking time: 4 hours.

Please remember to bring all of the usual gear - lunch, drinks, a sun hat, sun block, a torch, and mosquito spray and rain gear if needed.

Warning: Depending on the time, we shall decide whether to venture into the Kam Shan Country Park. If we do, please note that it is a habitat for monkeys which sometimes attack humans.
