All our walks are led by volunteers and are planned one week in advance.  If you don't see an itinerary on our homepage, that means no one has proposed anything yet.  And if one is not posted by Saturday, you can safely assume that there is no walk the following day.

We communicate via our website and we do not maintain a mailing list.

We will do a very long walk this coming Tuesday(definitely), July 1, 2008.  This is becoming something of a tradition and those of you who have watched Fiddler on the Roof will defi understand this. We will give a three booter rating due to the length. As we will be walking in the dark, a torch with fresh batteries is compulsory to join this hike. We will start off on Hong Kong trail and cover about 28 k to reach our destination for the day.

We will meet outside Pacific Coffee up on top of Victoria Peak at 12.00 Noon. Pl note the revised time. You can take the Peak Tram from Central or alternatively there are several buses from Central Bus station going up to the peak. This walk is about 28 kilometres and is relatively flat for the first few hours. There are a couple of ascents before Jardine's lookout. There are some beautiful wooded sections and sometimes it is hard to believe that you are just a stone's throw from Central. Please come prepared with torches and extra snacks / meal as it is a long day out. We will finish around 9 pm.

The trampers' made a call to Mr Donald T and he has acquiesced to our request. He will put on a small fireworks show over Victoria Harbour and has informed us to get over there by 7.27 pm for vantage positions. This time around we also have pushed him to clean up the air a bit for some nice view.

If in doubt on the morning of the walk, call 8209-0517. And remember -- don't be late! The ten minute waiting rule applies.

Remember to bring all the usual gear, in particular lots of water, torch, good shoes, lunch, rain gear and a hat. Also, bring some snacks for along the way.

1. Report from other side
1. It is ridiculous totally and crazy mostly that 16 tramper turned up and each and every one was happy to meet each other. I think this is really unreasonable.

2. I complained for times but this seems to be the bad behaviour of hktrampers. Many participant laughing and make joking so will be treated as leaving the group automatically. This is a very common rule for many other hiking groups. Participants should obey this rule.

3. It is totally wrong that the sky have blue colour and sun come out very hot make everything dangerous. I have mentioned many times to the trampers that leader mu
