All our walks are led by volunteers and are planned one week in advance.  If you don't see an itinerary on our homepage, that means no one has proposed anything yet.  And if one is not posted by Saturday, you can safely assume that there is no walk the following day.

We communicate via our website and we do not maintain a mailing list.

Constz and I are back in town for this week, looking forward to the hills of Hong Kong after the pancake that is Singapore (although in Spore the air is at least breathable!)

Not having done any serious hiking for several months we are planning a 2 - 2.5 boot hike for Sunday 30th December to see out the old year. For those still interested in such a tame and timid hike we plan to meet at Diamond Hill MTR at 11am and take the bus to Pak Tam Chung. From there we shall choose our track either via Lui Ta Skek (the 6-7 km hike) or via Ngam Tau Shan (the slightly longer hike). This end in view is back to Sai Kung for dinner.

Bring the usual gear, oxygen tent, asthma inhaler, artificial lung, all the essentials for hiking in Hong Kong these days, plus plenty of water, suitable boots and clothing for the weather, packed lunch, etc. If it pours with rain the hike will be cancelled.

If in doubt on the morning of the walk, call 8209-0517. The ten minute waiting rules applies and remember not to be late!

Disclaimer:- People join this walk at their own risks. I shall not be held responsible in any way for any injury or death incurred or any loss or damage to personal property caused due to whatever causes including, but not limited to, negligence, neglect, errors of judgment and inadequate orientation skills on my part. The fact that you show up at the time and place on the day to join the walk is an implication that you have agreed to and accepted unconditionally this disclaimer.
