This Sunday, for the third and final time we will attempt the walk that was first proposed 3 weeks ago and then again last week - each time the weather has meant that an amended  route was used. .  Therefore here it is again..............

We will meet at Tung Chung MTR, Lantau at 11 a.m. From there we will take a bus to Ngong Ping. The intention is to walk from Ngong Ping to Tai O. The route will be: Lantau Trail section 4, Keung Shan Country Trail, Lantau Trail sections 5 & 6. Using this route will keep us off the ridgeline as much as possible and keep the ups and downs to a minimum.

Please bring the usual stuff: 2 litres of water, lunch, torch, waterproof jacket, hat, sunscreen, mossie repellant etc.

If it is raining  on Sunday morning then the walk will be cancelled. If you have any problems on Sunday morning call the hotline: 8209 0517.

P.S. If you have a map of Lantau please bring it - I gave mine away last week thinking that I had probably led my last hike on Lantau!
