All our walks are led by volunteers and are planned one week in advance.  If you don't see an itinerary on our homepage, that means no one has proposed anything yet.  And if one is not posted by Saturday, you can safely assume that there is no walk the following day.

We communicate via our website and we do not maintain a mailing list.

The hiking activity was canceled temporarily here in Sz due to the scorching sun or the pouring rain of the season.

i`d like to join you guys there in Hk if possible. wondering how to join?

can i just go directly to the meeting place of a specific sunday hiking and meet everybody, then membership done ?

The way you proposed to join the hiking is just what everyone did when s/he first joined.

You may also wish to note the hotline telephone number 8209-0517 when you have difficulty identifying the reasonably handsome Vivek - the leader of many recent hikes!

Happy hiking!

Hey guys! Sorry to hear about your canceled trip fruitgirl. I think I know your disappointment. I'm currently in Taiwan visiting. Planned to go up Yushan but got rained out by the typhoon. Got to wait till next time since permits are so hard to obtain.

I'm currently planning a few days stay in Honk Kong for early August. I would love to join you guys if anyone's planning a trip. It seems that there's one every Sunday. I know that's not always the case, but are the meet-ups usually on Sundays? I have to plan my trip accordingly. :D

And another thing. My friend suggested that I take the Ngong Ping 360 to Big Buddha then hike down to Tai O. Is the path well marked. I couldn't find much literature about this. Any help in the right direction would be much appreciated!

Oh! And is it safe to hike solo in Hong Kong? Personal safety? Trail conditions?

Hope to meet you guys in Hong Kong!
